BioCnergy is a joint venture Company formed by Praj Industries, the global leaders in biofuel technology and Aker Solutions, leading global provider of engineering and construction services, technology products and integrated solutions.

Praj holds 60% shares in BioCnergy while Aker Solutions holds 40% shares.

The JV will build upon the individual strengths of its founding partners to offer European customers access to customized solutions. The JV will provide services which include technology package, engineering services, equipment and systems, project management services, construction and erection services, commissioning as well turnkey biofuel projects, including ethanol and biodiesel production plants.

AAker Solutions is part of the Aker Group which serves the chemicals, polymers, refining and onshore oil and gas industries.
